주차가 가능하다하여 갔는데 주차장이 만차라 주변 다른 곳에 주차했네요. 바로 앞 남산돈까스 골목이라 가서 저녁먹고 왔어요. 케이블카 승차장도 가깝고 좋았습니다. 대신 주변에 마트가 없어서 먹을꺼 먹을꺼 사러 좀 내려가야했네요. 건물 안에 무인마트가 준비되어있지만 맥주사러 가야해서^^;; 조식은 빵 구워 잼이나 버터를 발라 먹거나 시리얼이 준비되어 있어요. 수건이나 휴지는 복도에 준비가 되어 있어 필요한 사람은 가져가서 쓸 수 있도록 되어있어요. 침대도 편안하고 좋았어요. 더 보기

Location is great, near myeongdong shopping center and subway. Staff is nice as well, we checked in very late and they left instructions on the door on how we could get in. As for brekky, dont expect too much. Boiled eggs and toast and 3in1 coffee is served daily though you can order a proper breakfast for a fee. But the staff who was there at the time gave us free croissants for breakfast 😊. For the room, its not too big but not cramped either. One thing I didn’t like is the toilet, you can almost see through the glass so its a bit uncomfortable. Be sure to bring toiletries as well and a bath towel as well. Overall its great! 더 보기

We enjoyed our stay at Artmonstay Guesthouse. The staff are good in english so we have no trouble communicating with them. Decent rooms and the bed and pillows are comfortable. For a group of 4, the room is okay. Just make sure you have no very BIG luggages with you. Plus factor is the rooftop where some scenes of Legend of the Blue Sea was shot. Nice free breakfast everyday - jam, bread, egg, coffee, cereals, juice, and milk. It’s bit steep way from Myeongdong station going to the guesthouse but manageable. Will definitely be back! 더 보기

My parents and I had a comfortable stay in this guesthouse, feels home away from home. 👍Room Space is just enough for us 3 (deluxe triple-refer to their pictures uploaded). I dont recommend families with kids on this type of room as they might hurt themselves playing around as the room is not that big but not too small either, its just the right/enough for resting/sleeping after a long day outside. 👍With kitchenette, basic utensils and refrig. Also provided 👍Hot/cold water and room warm/cooling system functional 👍Laundry machine is also functional (however does not support dry system only spin dry so your clothes will not be totally dry, but you may use their public laundry at 3rd floor with dry system free of charge) 👍Honesty store-basic goodies/snacks, beverages, personal hygiene kits, room slippers, etc, take a look of what you need and pay the right amount. Accessible along the stairway. 👍Cafe-need refreshments & hot/cold meals? Located at their first floor. Ambience is relaxing. 👍Toiletries-tissue, regular medium towels (not bath towels), shampoo&soap provided. For the bath towel you have to pay 1000krw but the towels provided are enough since you can get new towels outside if you need more or wanted a new one. 👍Facility-I like the roof top so much i enjoyed the early morning coffee up there and the evening lights with some beer. 👍Smoking-not in the room. Outside would be ok just throw your cigarette butts responsibly. 👍Location- if you are not used to walking uphill, this area will be challenging for you. For us we are used to since we live in a mountianous region back home. The guesthouse is very close to Seoul tower and towards Namsan mountain. The location can’t be better! Also the walk up from Myeungdong train station is quick and definitely uphill. We took our stroller and it was fine with the baby. Note best to enter train station by the Northface store. Lots of great little restaurants and convenience stores nearby. This is a quiet area and most restaurants are closed by 9pm, so eat at the airport if you’re coming in late. The guesthouse was perfect for a few days in Seoul. We stayed in a quad room and everyone had a bed. It’s definitely tiny so anything longer than 3d and you risk feeling a little clusterphobic with kids. Artmonstay Guesthouse was one of the filming locations of The Legend of the Blue Sea - it's rooftop. Since we were a kdrama fanatic, we decided to booked on this guesthouse to have a pix on the rooftop. We arrived on the wee hours of the morning that's why I was instructed to do self check in. Glad that the manager instructed us very detailed. He also suggest a van transfer from the airport so that we can reached the guest house easily. The guesthouse was very near to Namsan Tower. If you were planning to go there, this guesthouse was definitely recommended. It was also walking distance from Myeongdong BUT if you were not fond of walking, you cannot stay here because going here was kind of uphill especially when you have elders & have a difficulty in walking. The room that was given to us was 2 floors, it was well ventilated to keep us warm because it was cold outside. When we were there, it was the first snow fall. There is also an Honesty store where you can buy ramyeon, water, etc. The manager Mr. Kang was so kind & accommodating. Kamsahamnida!!! The place is really good. Room are big enough with kitchen utensils and washing machine. The staffs were so accomodating and all nice. Price is just enough for the quality of the accommodation. The apartment is excellent for a family and clean. The service staffs are friendly and easy to check in & out. Light breakfast is available to all. Its very close just going down the hill for halal kampungku restaurant and Myeong-dong station & street. Going a bit the hill is access to the Namsan Trail for early morning run to those who like to keep fit. The rooftop is epic and have nice view. The film location of "The Legend of the Blue Sea." 더 보기

We booked the hotel because it fits our budget. Then while reviewing further, were surprised because this was one of the taping locations of Legend of the Blue Sea! The first K Drama I watched when we planned to go to S. Korea :) The location is hilly, quite a hike. Well, most of the places in Seoul are like this. It is near Myeongdong station, exit 2 or 3, about 15 mins walk and shopping area is walking distance as well. Lots of restaurants nearby. We also just walked up to Namsan Seoul Tower from the hotel. Room is clean. We even stayed at room 401, where Lee MinHo slept during his taping of LOTBS! <3 All of the staffs are accomodating. They are excellent in English which is a great help for us. They assisted us when we had an issue with DMZ booking. They were able to call the organizers early in the morning to rearrange our booking. They also managed to ask us on how are we everyday and make sure our stay is okay. They offer free breakfast, can eat cereal or toast bread. If you want more options, they have a cafe where good coffee is served as well. Also an honesty store which is open for 24hrs. Laundry and kitchen area are available in 3F. Highlight would be the rooftop where Legend of the Blue Sea was taped. We took good photos there. I enjoyed the 2 nights stay in Artmonstay. the room was nice and clean. i loved the loft style set up like a condo. i really felt at home too much that i just wanted to stay in. had a kitchen so i was able to cook. the top floor had a fantastic view of namsan and myeongdong shopping area. the problem is it is too much of an uphill climb to get to the guesthouse, good workout if you are in for it. alternative is to get taxi going to namsan and drop off in a street to go down. 더 보기

We were very satisfied with our stay. There was a slight hiccup during our checkin because there was a puddle of water in the floor in our room because of the heavy rain but the staff was very accommodating and helped us. Our room is also complete with amenities, there was a washer, and dish for food. Although i have to admit, the hike from myeongdong station to the hostel was very steep and tiring but still my overallrating is 5 STARS! Dabong! :) 더 보기

So, the only thing I considered in choosing this hotel is because of the location. To our surprise, this hotel is where Legend of the Blue Sea rooftop scene was taken. That made even more exciting! It's really affordable, I love the breakfast, and most of all rooms are big ang clean. We stay at Duplex Suite. The location within walking distance to Namsan Tower cable car and Myeondong Street. We stay for 6 days 5 nights. On the 2nd last day we notice there was another road shortcut from Myeondong to the guesthouse without walk up to the hill since the guesthouse top of the hill. The tips was you can use the Oremi (lif from the downhill to Namsan Cable Car) and turn left from the Namsan Cable Car station around 200 meter the guesthouse will be on your leftside. The view from the rooftop at night breathtaking. We also love the heated floor. 더 보기

The room was not clean. Bedsheets were dirty and could see the stains all over. Towels were wet. They gave us different room than they show during the booking. Very limited staff. Not at all value to money. Only favourable thing is location closer from train station but this place is on hill and it’s very small road to walk on steep road 더 보기

The place was located uphill, maybe 10 mins walk to the train station. The facilities of the rooms are very minimal. Small basin in the toilet (no proper door lock in the toilet), small walking space and the beds are very flimsy with creaking sounds. The rooms were poorly maintained. The people handing the place though are very friendly but that couldn't save me from the bad experience of staying here. Sorry but not recommending this place. 더 보기
