Location is easily accessible within Bukchon Village, nearby to subway station & places of interest. We had a pleasant stay at the guesthouse. Received warm hospitality by the host - Mr & Mrs Joo. Traditional Korean breakfast was delicious too. 더 보기

It is worth noting that the bathroom in the first room we were assigned was extremely small and we had to pay an extra WON30,000 to upgrade to a more practical bathroom that allowed for a shower. 더 보기

Tried to stay Korean style house once and as an experience, it was generally good but no two nights and just one day stay is enough for me. Generally accommodation there is Seoul costs enormously. Quality also not worth to cost. So, we need to give up the good balance. All those who wants to experience the Korean traditional accommodation, please try here once.... 더 보기

This is first time we are trying hanok stay and it is really an amazing experience. Their home cooked breakfast is the best that we had in Korea. The room is very clean. It is winter-spring season so the first night is extremely cold. We told the owner about it and the next day it is warm and cozy in the room. She also told us to use wechat app so we can reach them easily. The other two hosts, Mr and Mrs Joo are also very friendly and kind toward us. Mr Joo even recommended us to go garousugil in Sinsa and it is really a great shopping areas. 더 보기

I traveled alone during winter, I didnt want to have to worry about the hassle of leaving my room to shower. Since the bathroom is attached it was perfect! The bathroom itself was really nice and clean too. I stayed in the small room and was suprised that it had a rainshower head. Very nice! I had a very early arrival time and they were very accomodating. I planned to just drop off my bags at 10am, but since I was tired after the 14hr flight they let me check in early. The bedding was a little on the light side as far as the cushioning goes, but I think it's standard for traditional Korean bedding. The ondol floor was nice, but didnt seem like it was equally warm everywhere. There were some extra ammenities like a hot water heater and coffee and water bottles in the room too. The best part of my stay was the home-cooked breakfast everymorning from the owner. I had one western-style breakfast and two Korean style. They were all sooo good! The staff and the owner in particular, were all very friendly and helpful. This guesthouse is higher in price compared to others that I was considering, but I didn't choose to stay here because it seemed cheap. I chose this guesthouse because of the extra ammenities that the competitors didnt offer: a real breakfast and ensuite bathroom. It was perfect! And I felt it gave me exactly what I was looking for, and I didn't mind having to pay a little more for it. Definitely stay at Dahmsojung, I recommend it 100%! 더 보기

Location of Hanok is good, just off the main road (if coming by cab), and very near the start of Bukchon viewing sights where loads of tourists alight to visit Bukchon. Hanok is quaint and cozy with heated flooring. Expectations to be managed as there is minimal modern comforts like TV, beds etc, but u experience what it is like living in the olden days, sleeping on floor and without much entertainment. Breakfast was good and an opportunity to chit chat with friendly Owner to learn more about local culture. Owner was very friendly and hospitable. Additional bonus is to learn that this was the filming site for "My Love From Another Star" : Do MinJoon's House 400 years ago! 더 보기

Dahmsojung is a rather newly renovated hanok that comes with an ensuite bathroom which is rare for hanoks. The ones I have came across to usually offer shared bathroom out in the yard. Having an ensuite bathroom just makes it so convenient for guests, especially at night. The owner is a really nice couple who makes traditional Korean breakfast for guests every morning. They have two breakfast time, the first session is 8am to 9am and the other session is 9am to 10am. Make sure you eat the breakfast because it's SUPER GOOD!! You won't be hungry for hours. My boyfriend and I had a really awesome time staying at this hanok. Everything was really nice. Just a note to future guests, make sure you inform the owner earlier when you would like to check-out of the hotel. For our case, we wanted to pick up our luggage at 4pm because our flight was at 7pm but the owners had things to attend to during that hour so we had to check-out with our luggage at 11am.. we had to find a place to store them before heading out to do last-min shopping. 더 보기

The staff are all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good for the first day but soso on the second day. The location of the house is good. However, the room and the toilet are too small, I don't think the room rate is fair. And the heater didn't work well. The room was partially warm in the first night and not at all warm in the second night. 더 보기

it's for Hanok experience only. The owner is trying to make the guest feel like home but provided you followed their rules strictly. We were told the checkin is 3pm and check out at 2pm, we were there early to check in, so the owner gave us a bit attitude but still let us to put down the luggage before we head out for lunch. The owner's wife made us breakfast the next day which was really good and simple, when we came back to check out at 1pm, a stranger woman showed up from no where in front of our window yelling: where have u been!?!?? The guests are waiting to check in and the check out time is 11am. We were puzzled as we were only allowed to check in after 3. Other than that, nothing to complaint about given we were only there for 1 night to experience Korean traditional house staying, the room and yard was much smaller than we expected but it's ok. Overall, it's a good experience to have, but overpriced service. 더 보기
