가격이 저렴한 만큼 딱 그 가격 정도의 숙소였습니다. 아쉬운 점은 방에서 퀴퀴한 냄새가 좀 난다는 점과 조식 시간이 8:30 이후여서 늦은 편이라는 점. 일찍 나가야해서 아침도 못 먹고 나갔네요. 어차피 간단한 토스트와 바나나라면 혼자 알아서 바나나라도 챙겨먹고 나갈 수 있게 해주면 될텐데... 더 보기

I got delayed going to the place because of wrong train info from another app... i was worried not to find it in the dark as was mentioned in a previous review. i purposely booked this because i wanted to experience the Hanok Quite a Walk it was quite a walk from Anguk station exit 2 ... the street was lined with Gingko trees in full yellow... you need to check the house number because it’s sequential... you passby a GS convenience store and when you see a building with #40 the cute alley is just a few steps away. after turning right, at the end of the alley you see a large wooden gate on the left. i knocked because i couldn’t see a door bell. after the second knock someone came to the door and welcomed me. Cozy warmed floor (modernized Ondol system) i felt like i was given a much larger room. i enjoyed the warm floor, it’s warmth seeped into the futon... a curtain prevents cold air that seeped through the hanji-lined window and the glass door ... three layers in all. the room has an outlet where they graciously provided adapters. there was also a blow dryer!!! A big plus for me. You need to go out to the rest room... so i ignored the urge to void and slept soundly. The modern restroom the restroom/ shower room is just across it. it had a heater to warm up the place while showering. the warm water was consistent. Bath gel, shampoo and tooth paste can be found (bring your own toothbrush). Breakfast Alone Breakfast is from 8:30-10:30am... i felt like i was alone in the complex... i made my breakfast on my own... it was as if i rented the whole place (or maybe everyone was already out - there were 3 door bangs earlier that day, so maybe i woke up late - 7am)... Challenging check out when i was about to check out i had to knock at the door of the female neighbor since there was no one about. She accomodated me and made me talk with the owner (Noelle?) regarding check out details. Leave luggage for more sightseeing you can leave your luggage behind (leave it 더 보기

My wish to stay in a Hanok house came true! The price was the cheapest among other hanok house accomodations, and it is a pretty decent guesthouse! The location is its strongest pluspoint.. it was only few minutes away from Bukchon Hanok Village, so we could reach the village very early in the morning before other tourist starts crowding the place. Changdeokgung palace is only ~10 minutes away from the guesthouse, and we also walked to Gyeongbokgung Palace. 더 보기

This is the fourth time we stayed here. Uni is very nice and helpful. Appreciate her friendship and hospitality. The rooms are very clean. Location very near palace, Insadong and Samcheongdong. Will definitely come back here. 더 보기

It was awesome experience to stay in hanok. The owner was very friendly and command good english. Simple breakfast ingredients such as bread, egg and juice were provided for guest to cook. The location is good as it is within walking distance to subway. The room and bathroom are clean. Highly recommended. 더 보기

The room is small but is expected. The owner waited for us at the entrance even though we arrived at night (9pm & cold in Winter!). She provided us Hot Tea and Sweet Potatoes upon our arrival. She speaks very good English by the way, and she's extremely helpful. The bathroom is located outside of the rooms. So it's quite challenging if you want to go to bathroom at night especially during Winter (super-cold!). Breakfast is kind of odd, as you have to cook it on your own. They just provide you with the tools and ingredients - eggs, breads, toaster, jam, peanut butter, etc. It's close to main attractions like Bukchon Hanok Village and about 20 mins walk to Samcheongdong-gil. Go to the Tourist Info Counter near the hotel, and you can get a map from them that shows you the best route to visit around Bukchon Area. 더 보기

We stayed our stay in the guesthouse. The location is good, close to subway and tourist sites. The owner, Uni, is friendly and helpful. The room is small, while everything you need is there. Bathroom is shared, but clean. Breakfast is self-served with bread, coffee and eggs. Uni have two friendly dogs in the house. 더 보기

Very nice host, near Anguk Station, very traditional house, so we can try to live like Korean. Also if we spent for 2 nights or more, we can borrow hanok from the host for free, to take some pics inside the house. (The house is very photogenic). Love this place. 더 보기

I stayed at the middle room for 5D4N. The room is clean and cozy. The house is lovely and near the subway. If you wanna try to stay at a traditional Korean house, it’s a nice choice. The house owner, Uni is friendly and willing to help during my staying in these 5 days. She is just like a big sister, with warm smile and caring heart. Location is excellent, close to 2 palaces, Bukchon traditional Hanok village and Insadong. Hanok 201 is a simple and traditional guesthouse with no TV, rooms are not soundproof and hidden in a quiet alley. The room is cosy, mattress and blankets are comfortable, the family room for 4 people has a private bathroom but toilet is shared. 더 보기

We stayed a night here. The room was clean & pleasant. However a point to note...the 2" thickquilt bedding (mattress ) may not be comfortable for anyone heavier than 150lb.(I'm 130lb & I could feel the hard floor) Neverthe less I had a good night's sleel as everything else was calm & peaceful through the night. Location is fantastic for those wanting to visit cultural & Historical spots. We spent the 1st evening walking down Insadong street (distance 10-15 min walk from Hanok Guesthouse 201) where there's lots of cultural craft, & korean food. Next morning, we started out early to the Gyeongbukgung Palace (20-25 min walk) and spent half a day there. Uni is friendly & helpful. Kitchen is clean & open all hours, no cooking allowed. Would recommend this place to young travellers who wish to experiencesleeping in a hanok-like place & have 1 day of sightseeing within the Insadong surrounds. 더 보기
