가족여행을 하던 중 중문단지 주변의 숙소를 찾던 중 알게된 해피하우스. 예약부터 위치와 가격이 너무 착해서 선택하는데 고민이 없었습니다. 중문 관광단지와 5분이면 인접할 수 있는 지리적 여건과 최저수준의 가격이 굿굿 침대방2개와 거실이 있어서, 가족들이 지내는데 전혀 지장없이 시간을 보냈습니다. 저희 일정이 완전 추울때 움직여서 그런지 외풍이 좀 있었습니다만 이러한 외부조건을 감안하신다면 최선의 선택이었습니다. 더 보기

TV도 요새 매우 보기 힘든 브라운관 티비에 내부 시설은 침대,옷장,TV,부엌 외에는 거의 없다고 보시면 됩니다... 참고로 창쪽에서 나무와 건물에 가려서 바다는 거의 보이지 않습니다. 가격을 저렴한 곳을 찾으신다면 차라리 서귀포 시내의 모텔을 추천드립니다. 더 보기

첨엔 시내와 너무 떨어져 있어 불편하고 엘리베이터도 없고 외관도 많이 낡고 불만투성이였는데 택시타고 마트에서 장보고 (꼼꼼하게 봐야함)이것저것 만들어 먹으며 가족들과 있다보니 또 색다른 매력이 있더라구요. 무엇보다 찬은 없지만 소박한 조식은 어릴적 엄마가 해주시던 맛이 나서 왠지 미소가 지어졌습니다. 더 보기

Owner is very helpful, and has helped us arrange for taxi service to bring us around for sight seeing. He also helped my family to translate to the driver, the places we want to go. Very resposnsible. The taxi service is value for money and the driver brought us around many places (olleh) that we might not be able to go based on the GPS, as we are not familiar. Road signs have korean and english language. International driving license is required (you will need an extra permit apart from your own license) 더 보기

I stayed in this hotel 2 night. The room equipped with kitchen. The room is big with balcony. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He drove us to nearby restaurant and shopping mart (because typhoon second day) and help us call taxi driver as well. The Shims are great hosts and really make the place live up to its name! If you want to experience genuine Korean hospitality, this is the place. Happy Home Pension is located in a quiet residential area and you will be able to relax and enjoy a very peaceful stay. However, do bear in mind that it is located some 10 mins drive away from the Jongmun Tourist Complex so if you want to check out the attractions there, as well as in other parts of Jeju Island, it would be better if you rent a car. As we didn't, Mr and Mrs Shim were only too helpful in driving us to the nearest bus stop or to Jongmun Tourist Information Centre (both about 5 mins drive away) but it was a fair walk back to the Pension from the bus stop on the main road. When we arrived, we took the Airport Bus to the Tourist Information Centre and Mrs Shim picked us up from there. The nearest restaurants are along the main road (Mrs Shim dropped us off at a great place which serves Jeju’s famous BBQ black pork) so you may wish to purchase groceries from the mini-marts along the main road and cook them in the kitchenette in your unit (which is what we saw the Koreans guests at the Pension doing). Mr Shim speaks some English and he has a lovely dog (a Japanese akita). 더 보기

It is near jungmun resort area. The couple owner were so helpful and they offered their car for us to see around seongsan area and brought us to our new hotel in downtown with a minimal cost. They even recommend us to stay in suite room in a standard price. Best place ever... 더 보기

Just spending nights in the 1 BR apartment, I can asy that I slept very well, and that the amenities were very good, even if no-frills. The relative distance from the HH to center of town is alleviated by cheap taxi (4€) but allows for a quiet environment 더 보기

We book this room for 5 days, but we just stay here for 3 days. We prefer to check out early (although we have paid for 5 days) since we don't want to spoil our vacation. This pension is really need to refurbish their room. All the furniture were old and infact their closet door already was broken.The toilet was dirty and I can see dark spot under toilet seat. They have small balcony, but it was also dirty and mossy. They only provide small towel which is not suitable for bath. The air conditioner was not functioning properly and when we make a comment, they just say it is ok. We stay here during summer, so the room was pretty hot without air conditioner working properly. They also provide two pillow even though we have a baby. This pension is operated by a husband and wife. So do not expect much from them. The husband are quite helpful, however his wife are really arrogant. She even don't smile to us. They have two 'big' dog at the entrance and if you are 'lucky' you can smell their poo. My advise is simple, DO NOT STAY HERE. There are plenty of pension, motel arround Jungmun area. So choose them. This pension is not worth for your money and it just spoil your vacation. 더 보기

The hostel manager is the nicest person we met on jeju island. Very helpful and attentive. The room we got was huge and has everything we need, full kitchenette. Breakfast is served personally to your room, consist of bread, fresh fruit, milk and cereals. Our friend told us that it is easy to rent a car at the airport, but when we reach there we were informed that all coarse rented out. Wet old the hostel manager and we called AJ rental service and got us a Matis at only won for two days. 더 보기

We were glad we ended up in the Happy House. It is a bit far from the beach and the hotel, but the owner was very accommodating and took us around with his own car whenever he could. The hotel had a nice and cozy feeling about it. 더 보기

despite injury on the owner hand he still welcome us with big smile when we reach the pension late at night. breakfast was homemade korean food. offered to help us order supper in the middle of the night. it just felt like you are home. 더 보기

Booked the guesthouse because of our budget and its location. It turned out to be nice and warm welcome by the owner! We asked for recommended place for dinner and he brought us on his car to this "family style" BBQ ! Nice and valued for money. We had different food for breakfast every morining, prepared by owner and wife. Both my children liked the place. Highly recommended. 더 보기
