as a resident of South Korea, I am used to paying $50/night for queen-size beds, jet-baths, multi-head showers, large screen TVs and computers, sofas and balconies, so this room was quite disappointing with its minimal, small, box-like features. The fee is clearly due to the location, which is excellent - close to Seoul Station, Myeong-dong shopping area, and walking distance to Kyungbok Palace and Insa-dong. The staff were very courteous and helpful, and allowed baggage storage post-checkout. Access is difficult with suitcases requiring a flight of stairs before a small elevator to reach the check in counter. 더 보기

I booked at this hotel for 2 nights for my sister and her husband, who were visiting Korea for the first time. I decided on this place because of the location, which was really nice. However, when I arrived at the room, I was somewhat embarrassed for my family. The room was a lot smaller than I had expected/seen in the pictures. I would only recommend this place if you absolutely had to stay in the myeongdong area 더 보기

Good location that near to the subway station but drawback is have to walk up the staircases to the hotel. The staff are very kind, helpful and assist us at all time even some of them do not speak English well. It was great place to stay and a nice budget hotel, we love it. I am Travelling with friends. We booked 2 rooms for 4pax. Apart from the room size were abit small for big luggages.. other than that we really satisfied and enjoyed our stay in Myundong Hotel! We love the location. Easy to find, Very near to Subway! Eventhough Myundong Hotel located in the area of Namdaemun but you could feel like it's located in the middle between Namdaemun & Myeongdong, because we can easily walk to Myeongdong back & Forth everytime we feel like to! The landmark of Shinsegei building make it easier to remember the location of the Hotel. So we'd never got lost. As we could see the Shinsegae building from afar. The staffs are super friendly. Especially, Mr Lee! He has been very helpful enough as he can speak good English. He helped us alot, with the directions and suggestions on wherever we wanted to go. He would make sure tht we understand the route, the stations and know where we're goin and he wouldnt mind to keep repeating what he has explained if we seem to not understand the name or the map :) Overall. its recommended. 더 보기

Booked and paid for 7 nights but after enduring 3 nights of discomfort, we had enough and changed to another hotel to continue our holiday in Seoul. The website shows that the room was supposed to be 33 sq m but to our horror, it was actually only less than 15. There wasn't even space to accomodate two people between the beds and we even had to move sideways to enter the bathroom. As if this wasn't enough, the bathroom was so ridiculousy small until you will hit against the door several times when you bathe. It was the most terrible experience of our trip. 더 보기

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The central air conditioning was freezing and the room wasn’t clean. This hotel needs an upgrade! Definitely not 3 stars and definitely not your money worth! 더 보기
