I have stayed at this hotel twice now and have found it the same both times. Firstly, to get this out of the way, you could call this place a 'love motel'. These are actually quite common in Korea, but this is more of a hotel than a 'love motel'. The hotel is very well decorated and nicely maintained, and unlike what you may expect, it is not at all seedy. The location is very good, on a main street, with underground parking via side entrance. It is just a 5 minute walk from Sungshin metro station, and there is a nice stream and a large market you can walk around nearby. Near the metro station there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. The rooms are all decorated well, with a fridge/freezer, TV, bathroom (with shower/jacuzzi bath) and a PC (in Korean). Towels, slippers, shower gels and bottled water are provided too. The rooms are also well soundproofed. The staff are very friendly, not all of them speak English, but they are all willing to help. The rooms are also cleaned very well everyday. The reception is also open 24 hours. In the lobby there is a computer, popcorn, coffee/tea and slushy machine. My only issue I had was the bed, it is rather hard. But that is the typical Korean style too. The area around the hotel, as with most of Seoul, is quiet safe. And I walked alone there at all hours of the day. In conclusion, a fairly decent hotel in a great location (for my needs) and one which I will probably use again.
