We had a surprisingly pleasant stay here! On the outside, Hotel Picasso looks a little bit like the Tower of Mordor, but our 2 night stay here was excellent. The hotel has just been refurbished - our room was very spacious and a lot of toiletries and amenities were provided. Tea, coffee and drinks were also provided in the mini-fridge. The beds were also very comfortable, and cable TV was provided. But the highlight had to be the shower! In Korea, it's sometimes difficult to find a shower with strong water pressure and usually, you'll be squashed in a tiny box that passes as the bathroom. But the bathroom in our room was actually really spacious and the shower had really strong water pressure - it was fantastic! It's a bit of a walk to get into the "center" of the town itself but you can always catch the local bus to get to Heyri Art Village or the new Provence shopping area, neither of which are too far. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel! Oh, and breakfast is included. 더 보기

This hotel was very clean and quirky. A love-hotel borough with a view of North Korea (from our 5th floor room)! A pleasant 30 minute walk to Odusan lookout. Our kids loved this hotel. 더 보기

The hotel staff were not helpful at all when asked about attractions nearby. The hotel is actually located an observatory where you can see N.Korea but the staff only answered "don't know" and "take the taxi" when we asked about things such as directions to places. We speak Korean so language would not have been a barrier. I recommend seeking help and suggestions from the taxi drivers, who are generally much more friendly,helpful and knowledgeable. The room was generally comfortable and the design was nice (looks just like the pictures). However, the shower leaked loudly in the middle of the night and interrupted our sleep. In addition, while this hotel is located within a cluster of hotels, the location was not ideal, especially during winter. You will have to walk down a dark path at night to get to the nearest eateries. There was also nothing much to see/do in the hotel's vicinity. You will need to take a bus (using your own knowledge and luck to find the right bus stop) if you are travelling free-and-easy and don't want to take taxis all the time when moving around. 더 보기
