I totally can not understand how can this guesthouse remain at 8.5 mark level. I booked 3 rooms for 5 days, 1st room’s pillows and bed sheet not change and have fruits color , hair, smelly and thick dusty, under the bed have bird’s feather, biscuits and teeth braces. 3rd room’s bed is super soft, feeling like will falldown and will get body paint and neck paint after sleep. Staff reply action very confuse and slow, they suggest to change room, but very upset also, because all the room are not fully setting, A mop was left few day at the Front desk, Kitchen and leisure seating area very dirty and not tidy. Overall seems like do not have proper care for this building. Transportation are totally not convenient, not easy to find the place, the way to walk to the guesthouse is slope road. First time I feel not worth to paying for my booking. 더 보기

The location is very good except you need to go up a very steep road in order to reach. The room is clean and cozy, the blanket is super warm and comfortable. The bathroom is a little bit small and water heater is a bit difficult to adjust (takes couple of tries) The owner is very friendly and kind. Easy access to food :There is already a small local shop which serve really delicious and cheap(compare to those tourist area) Korean food right on the same row/street with this property. We ate there twice during our stay as it's super near and serve good food. Overall a good place to stay in Seoul as it is located in myeongdong, which has a lot of tours (Everland/Nami island... etc) stopping here to pick up people and fetch to destinations. Oppa was very nice and always willing to help! The guesthouse was clean and well maintained. Reviews were right about the steep hill from myeongdong station to the guesthouse. Although it'd only take a good 5-minute walk, if you're traveling with infant or elderly, I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you'd take a cab which doesn't cost much in my opinion. The room is clean and comfortable. It takes about 10 mins walk to go to Myeon-dong from a slope. The host is nice and friendly. He picked up us by car to the guesthouse when we arrived. He also sent us to the airport bus station when we left. 더 보기

We had a great time here, first impression for this place is that it's so so clean and comfortable. All amenities are all here and it's just 5 minutes walk to the train station. breakfast is available too and best of all the wifi is very fast. 더 보기

We lives in a double room, the house is very near to Myeong-dong subway. The size of the room is just right, the washroom is a bit small but very good enough for such cheap price. I extremely appreciate the host as he is so nice and helpful, he even drives us to the subway station 6am in the morning when we check out. 더 보기

Great finding a small hotel with friendly owner. Love to stay a week at Mama Guest house Myeong-Dong, there's so tidy, clean, nice and cozy. the location is close to anywhere you wanna go, specially Myeong-Dong Subway. wish I could go back there next time...!!! 더 보기

There are two Mama Guesthouses under same owner and both are in Myeogdong. The website only gives one address which is different to the one we stayed. Therefore, need to clarify with the owner the address before you go. The guesthouse we stayed was very new and clean. Owner has helpers to do clean up and provide breakfast. So, you will feel very comfortable. You have to walk up a small slope to the guesthouse thus if you don't have the owner to bring you the first time, you can hardly know the place. It is about 10 mins walk to Myeongdong so is very accessible but quiet. 더 보기

obviously, recently refurbished building and newly opened, a sort of up-market hostel. people who run it are fabulous, rooms fine to great, i chose korean bedding, which may have been a mistake, but certainly ok. a room in the basement acts as massive kitchen/dining/etc area - clever use of mirrors to make it look even larger. breakfast, provided, was fine too. in terms of seoul or capital city prices, really good value for money, would certainly stay there again. 더 보기

The location is not near to myeongdong station, need cab to reach there. If you check in at night, maybe a bit difficult to find location but the staff are friendly and flexible of the check in process. It’s quite okay for one night stay. 더 보기

The host (guy) offered me a ride to Seoul station seeing that I had a few luggages with me. I had a really pleasant stay there. Worth the money and friendliness of staff. I asked to extend one more day and he was great enough to assist. Location was good, just need to conquer the slopes and hills when going to and fro the station. 2 thumbs up! 더 보기

we specifically booked this place because they a double room available but when we arrived the only room left was a twin an we weren't offered any discount or compensation or told about it before we arrived. Everything else about our stay was fine it's just a shame guest houses can't keep their online bookings updated. 더 보기
