중심가에 위치해서 지하철, 공항버스, 버스 이용하기 편리해요. 업무차 방문했는데 주변이 조용해서 푹 쉴 수 있었네요. 주인분도 친절하시고 간단한 조식과 화장실이 있어서 좋았어요 ! 주변에 인사동, 익선동, 북촌 한옥마을이랑 정말 가깝고 창덕궁이나 경복궁도 금방 가네요. 더 보기

Great guesthouse. Let me check in early and even left notes in the door in case I got lost. I could leave my luggage with them past check out time. They upgraded my room and the entire guesthouse was clean and quiet. Definitely visit again! 더 보기

Poor hygiene for the beddings and the bathroom. Felt a bit deceiving at the room prepared for us because obviously it can’t be for two persons. Then, the owner offered us with another bigger room which is confusing because clearly the booking shows for two instead of only one person in the first place. 더 보기

The hanok is beautifully restored, some rooms have attached bathroom ( better to book those). The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. My mother was not feeling well and they drove us to the clinic. Thank you very much for the help and hope to stay here again next time. 더 보기

Unbelievable! A rare find! My short stay was like walking back in time, and feeling the historic culture. The gentleman, Mr. Moon, is so polite and kind. I arrived late, but he made me feel very welcomed. A very quiet nestled house, 2 blocks from the palace and famous the Bukchon area. I am very thankful that Mr. Moon has preserved this beautiful wood house, and offers its value to others. For those wanting a unique experience, and he offers cultural lessons, a MUST stay! A quiet gem in the midst of busy downtown Seoul. I found the guesthouse in the Lonely Planet book, and glad I made my choice to stay here. 더 보기

I had the best time at the Moon Guesthouse. I messed up my reservations and missed a day, however, the owner tried to contact me to make sure I was still coming. Not only was I a day late, but I had another traveler with me. They gave us a larger room (just $20 extra) and let us participate in one of the activities that I unfortunately missed the day before. I would definitely come back again and stay longer; the location was near a subway line and getting lost in the area nearby was great as well. 더 보기

When we arrived at Moon Hanok we were taken to a room that we hadn't booked. I politely pointed out I had booked a different room and we were politley explained to there had been a mix-up. For those new to Agoda it does sometimes book rooms that you find out later we're not available, by no means the fault of the hotel. We were immediately offered another room similar to the one we had booked, only run by the aunt, just about 1 km away. This place was lovely, the aunt who couldn't really speak English was still very friendly and thoughtful. We had a traditional Korean breakfast prepared every morning, more kimichi then anyone could eat! She even did some pancakes and wine one evening when we got back. It was a wonderful experience! I highly recommend to do a Hanok for a couple of nights when you visit Seoul. The area is very close to three of the main palaces, plus the neighborhood is great for walking around in and seeing the little craft shops or grabbing a coffee in one of the many cafe's. In terms of accessing the shopping and markets of Seoul, it's only 3-5 stops (1 chg max) on the subway transit. It's also very close to the 6011 Airport bus for arriving and departing. If you like to immerse yourself in the culture of a city and experience local life, this is where you should stay. 더 보기

My stay was very enjoyable. As an independent traveller it was good to be asked to participate in activities but not be expected to go. The building felt very authentic (which was my reason for staying), however i would suggest a few improvements. 1. The Kitchen smelt badly of fish for almost my entire stay, may I suggest deodorising or banning smelly foods. 2. The bedding was very minimal, a thicker mattress and pillows would make the room more comfortable. 3. Besides the bed my room had no furniture, as an independent traveller I would have liked to see a low table to put my laptop on and a pillow for the floor to sit on would have been nice aswell. I hope you take these suggestions onboard as I would love to return to the Moon Hanok when I return to Seoul. 더 보기

It is a beautiful Hanok Guesthouse. However, we had a bit of a booking issue. My agoda profile clearly states that we are a family with young children and dispite the fact that I booked what was called a "Family Ondol" they seemed to think that I am a solo traveler. So, when I arrived with my family they insisted that we move to a much larger room. This much larger room was also more than twice the price of the room I had booked. We would have been happy to stay in the smaller room, but as so many things are lost in translation, we ended up being moved to the larger space and having to pay the difference. I wonder if they were trying to make extra money off of us since we are foriegn... it worked. Aside from the disappointment of having to shell out so much more money than we had planned to, the Hanok was really lovely and the bedding was very comfortable. 더 보기

the guesthouse was pretty easy to find. it's located in a quiet area and is near a train station. we went there by train however it was a struggle because since there were no escalators or elevators in the train station, we had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs! the guesthouse was really nice. we were greeted by the manager and showed us to our room. we were a bit disappointed with the room because we didn't expect it to be really small. we almost couldn't fit our big luggage in. i'd recommend to get the triple room for 2 people to get a bit of space. one of the main reason we chose this guesthouse is that they offer traditional korean activities like hanbok wearing & tea ceremony. we had the chance to do that on the day since the owner was there too. it was fun! 더 보기
