엄마랑 둘이서 여행가려고 급하게 잡은 숙소입니다. 생각보다 가격에 비해서 방이 너무 넓었네요~ㅋㅋ 성인 5~6명정도 충분히 잘수 있는 사이즈 밤늦게 도착했을때 간판에 불이 없어서 코앞에서 헤맸네요. 사장님은 연락해도 전화도 안받으시고 도착하니 방문앞에 환영합니다와 함께 제이름이 적힌 A4용지가 붙여져있더군요. 당황했지만 열쇠도 없고 문만 닫혀져있길래 그냥 문열고 들어가서 쉬었습니다. 한시간정도 지나서 사장님이 찾아오셔서 일이 있어서 늦었다고 미안하다 하셨습니다. 생각보다 방도 넓고 나름 괜찮았어요. 근데 욕실이 좀 춥고 칫솔 치약이 없고 수건만 있었어요. 큰개가 대문입구에 있는데 밤에 짖어서 한번씩 깼습니다. 아 그리고 방에 잠그는 걸쇠나 이런게 없어서 불안했습니다. 제가 못찾은걸수도 있지만 문자체에 걸쇠나 잠그는게 없습니다. 그래도 전기히타도 벽에 있고 따뜻하게 잠은 잘잤어요. 더 보기

수고는 깨끗하고 쓰기에 젛았습니다. 한옥의 장점을 살린 펜션의 모습도 좋았습니다. 그러나 한옥의 단점인 우풍이 넘넘 심했습니다. 겨울에 한옥은 아닌듯 합니다. 더 보기

It was such a great Hanok stay experience for me. The owner couples are very friendly especially the wife. I would like to have more interaction with them if time was allowed. The room was very warm and comfortable amidst the cold weather. It would be more fun if you are coming with your family or a group of friends. Nevertheless, I enjoyed myself being a solo traveler here. I took a taxi to this place as the sky turned dark. It took the taxi driver some time to find this place but it was definitely worth it. Thankfully, the taxi driver and the people at this village (even Suncheon) that I met were very friendly. Next morning, I woke up early with a pleasant mood. Thanks to the cozy room and comfortable blanket and mattress, I had a very good sleep over the night. I walked to the bus stop nearby and took the bus to the Suncheon Bus Terminal. It was convenient indeed. During the short walk from the Hanok to the bus stop, I felt reluctant to leave this beautiful place. Nice stay and staff but no telephone number or email available! Neither the name of the owner... so that when you ask for your way nobody can help... maybe the owner could suggest pick,up service or at least give an email address... 더 보기

The stay is quite alright but prepare to use sign language or language translator if you can't speak Korean. The house is traditional Korean house and it is walking distance to the nearest bus stop. You can take either bus service 66 or 67 at the nearest bus stop to the Suncheon Bay, Suncheon bus terminal, Suncheon station and city. Bus service 66 will ends around 6+ in the evening and bus service 67 ends later at night. However, do take note that the bus stop there serve both directions. You need to know which side to take the bus to your destination. The bus fare is fixed at 1,200 Won per person per trip. 더 보기

We stayed there for 3 nights and we liked it a lot. It's countryside but very close to the city and even closer to the garden expo and Suncheon bay. The location is very quiet, which we liked a lot, especially in the night. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The house was clean. Go here, it's great! 더 보기

The staff is very friendly and they sent us to town/ecological park everyday during our stay at our preferred timing, even if it is 7.20am in the morning. If there is anything lacking in the room, they will provide to us immediately when we asked for it. I will certainly recommend this place to everyone. 더 보기

We were visiting Suncheon for the weekend to see the bay and the garden expo, and wanted somewhere nearby to stay. The Reed House was perfect - a beautifully maintained traditional Korean house in a peaceful village of similar houses an hotels close to the bay. Our room was clean, simple and comfortable - not very well insulated for noise, but that was our only complaint. The women who greeted us was very friendly, and even drove us to a nearby restaurant in the evening. Not much English spoken, but communication was no problem. The room was excellent value, too, and highly recommended for a stay near Suncheon Bay. Note - the hotel is a 6/7,000 Won taxi ride from Suncheon bus terminal, but easily found based on the address on the booking confirmation. It's within walking distance (20 minutes) of the bay, where there are plenty of cafes and restaurants, and a nice ecological park. From here you can catch a free shuttle to the garden expo, which is running until the middle of October 2013. 더 보기
