홍대 게스트하우스 예약한 이유는 공연 때문이었어요. 위치는 지도에서 확인했고 괜찮아보였어요. 실제로도 홍대 공연장과 걸어서 멀지 않아서 걸어 다녔습니다. 방 크기나 욕실 크기 등은 전혀 문제가 되지 않았습니다. 캐리어 같은 큰 짐도 없었고 싱글룸이니 크기는 더 클 필요도 없이 좋았어요. 일반적인 원룸과 욕실이라 생각하심 될 거 같아요. 샤워를 할 만한 공간이 많진 않지만 그런 원룸을 워낙 많이 봐서 그건 상관없었습니다. 불편했던 점은, 숙소 마당이라고 해야 할까요 입구라고 해야 할까요. 공사장처럼 이런저런 물건이 너무 많이 나와있고 영업하는 게스트하우스인지 당장 내일 이사하는 집인지 헷갈릴 정도였어요. 물건 한 두개 나와있는 수준이 아니었습니다. 그리고 방에 들어가자마자 느껴지는 습기와 습기가 많을 때 나는 특유의 그 냄새. 에어컨을 아무리 틀어도 습기는 잡히지 않고 작은 방 사이즈에 비해 창문이 꽤 많았음에도 전혀 환기가 되지 않는 것 같았어요. 2박했는데요. 둘째날 아침에 외출했다가 5시쯤 돌아오니 청소하시고 에어컨을 켜놓으셨더라구요. 그런데도 습기가 하나도 잡히지 않은 것 같았습니다. 욕실 곰팡이도 심하고 특히 욕실 실내와 곰팡이는 정말이지 너무 심했어요. 실내화 신고 싶지 않았지만 다른 방법이 없어서 신을 수밖에 없었구요. 샤워 커튼에도 곰팡이 있었네요. 방 실내화도 다회용을 쓰시는 것은 이해하지만 그정도면 교체할 때가 지났다고 봅니다. 방도 위생적이라도 표현하기는 힘들 것 같네요. 청소하는 분을 만나기 전에 외출했다고 셀프 체크인 체크아웃 시스템이다보니 이런 말을 전할 직원을 만나지 못했어요. 싱글룸은 개선이 많이 필요하다고 생각합니다. 장판이나 욕실 등등. 위치는 바로 주변에 편의점이 없는 것을 빼면 괜찮았구요. 욕실 크기가 작지만 수압이 좋아서 씻기 불편하지 않습니다. 이곳이 좀 더 깨끗하고 정돈된 숙소가 되었으면 좋겠어요. 진심으로요. 더 보기

Emily the owner is super sweet and lovely! She's very hospitable and really nice! It's my first trip to seoul and she speaks english, and even wrote down suggestions on a piece of paper. location is super near exit 3 of hongdae station. When you come out, see opposit you'll see luggage story, you can just walk in on the aisle on the left of luggage storage and walk straight down. Very convenient location. No breakfast but the rooms are spacious and clean! THere's even washing machine & dryer! Very convenient and great stay!!! Will definitly stay here again if I'm visiting hongdae area :) I recommend everyone to stay here for convenient and quiet stay. 더 보기

all were good, very close to metro station and easy to go everywhere, easy to find food. my room was okay, clean, wifi also worked so fine. we booked twin room and for us it's not too small, but the bathroom was. too bad seems no place to enjoy the breakfast, we need to either bring the breakfast to our room or sitting on the stair in the breakfast area. 더 보기

Stayed 2 rooms. Our room has a fridge,sink,plates,cutleries. Power points are not enough to charge our gadgets tho. Bathroom small but good enough. However, one of our room's bathroom towel rod came off from the wall and we were not able to hang our towels and clothes while taking a shower. quite inconvenient to us. Basic breakfast food provided. Rooftop excellent. No lifts - a few flight of stairs up to rooms - have to manage slowly with heavy luggages as quite narrow. Location perfect - super near to subway - reason why we booked this room. Hongdae - interesting place and able to get anything nearby. 더 보기

The location is really nice, only a few minutes from the subway exit. The staff was very nice with many channels to communicate with them. (Line, Kakao, etc) So literary can support us anytime. The lock system was also very convenient, just get the password and you can get into the room. 더 보기

This is my second time staying at this hostel, and the hostel retains its good standard as usual. The location is 2-3 mins walk from Hong Ig Uni Station exit 3, which is a good location. Staff was friendly and supported us all information we needed. She supported us in keeping our luggage before we went to the Airport at night flight. Overall, the hostel is impressive and i will definitely comeback next time. 더 보기

We had the family room n triple room for 2 stays across a week. Very thankful that they allowed us to deposit portion of our bags as we hop by jeju for 3 days before coming back. Rooms are really comfortable n family room has a washing machine in room. Triple room doesnt have one but can use the common machine in the main building 1min walk away. Breakfast runs out of supplies (bread) early with no recep to go to. Got to bring own cups n bowls from room to collect breakfast. Reception is always not open and have to rely on kakaotalk messenger to reach staff. Other than that comfy spacious room, equipped bathroom with heater. Good location. Triple n family room has a small kitchen space. Best part is room service (trash clearing n towels changing) which is not the norm for guesthouse :) 더 보기

Seoul Mansion has whatever it takes for a good guesthouse. in terms of location, it is just right opposite Exit 3 of Hongdae subway station. Plus point will be that is one of the subway exit WITH escalator. I'm feel blessed for this after the horrible experience with Anguk subway station with my luggage. hahaha Thus it is only few minutes walk and u can reach the center of HongDae with lots of shoppings and good food!! The room is clean and well equipped with whichever daily basic needed. there is up to 5 power plugs (i m so happy with this as the guesthouse we previously stayed in before seoul mansion only have 2 and i have lots of gadgets to charge). The toiletries supplied are good. me and my friend even asked which brands are they supplying as it makes our hair so smooth. Seoul mansion serves simply breakfast (toasts, muffins, fruits, juice, cereals, milk) but its really sufficient for a kick start in the morning. i personally love the muffins and fresh fruits. the staffs are very helpful. i will definitely come back for another stay with Seoul Mansion. 더 보기

This is a central located hotel with spacious, comfortable and well equipped rooms and comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast. The staff is extremely professional and service minded. Location-wise, it is near to shopping, sightseeing, metro and fantastic restaurants. This was our second stay at this hotel and we´ll always return when visiting. It was awesome. The front desk staff and boss were really helpful. Even before I reached, I had received two emailed from them confirmationing my stay and detailed directions to get their by bus/train/taxi and by walking, that's how detailed it was! I wanted to go to a salon and the boss brought me to a salon nearby and help me to translate. This place really feels like a home! When I step into my room I immediately love it! Sofa by the side, comfy bed and there's a small area with basin, plates etc where u can order food to your room ( front desk can help you) or you bring back take away and will need the plates and bowls. Some of the best food are from deliveries like zha jiang mien. Internet is exceptionally fast and there's a working desk with TV on it. No keys needed , you will need to have two sets of code to enter the mansion and your room. What I like is that is is not expensive, yet it is not a hostel style, it feels more like an apt. There's a great rooftop terrace where u can chill with your friends. There are 3 floors with no lift, so if you have heavy luggage you will need to endure that few steps. Toilet is extremely small which is the biggest downside of the place. But you will probably have no time to stay long in there cos you will be out shopping all the time. Near the hotel are loads of coffee places and across the road is the Hondae area which have loads of food and streetwise performance and shops to shop. 3mins walk to hit the subway/railway (to airport). I think overall the reviews are quite good because this place is dirt cheap and it is literally across the street from hongdae shopping street. But unfortunately I was assigned the third floor with a miniscule toilet which made it very uncomfortable to shower. You can't change in the shower and have to change in the room due to the size of the toilet. There was also no lift or escalator so carrying up the luggage was hard as the staircases were narrow. Overall, I'd come back here if I had no money, but I'd definitely save up more to stay in a hotel next time. 더 보기

Pros: *3 mins walking distance from Hongik University station from exit 3. So, easy to access everywhere. *Easy to check in/Check out Cons: * No housekeeping service. Notice board in the room indicates there is light sweeping and clearing trash bin within sudden time slot of the days and towels will be changed if we put on the floor. It never happened within 3 days that we stayed. We threw trash by ourselves. And it never happened to change the towels from our room too. * The room is cold .You cannot come back to the room for the nap or rest in the day time in the room as staff claimed heater only turn on at night. I only feels warm and comfortable on the first night only. The other 2 days & nights, the room temp is low and I put 2 heat pads in the blanket to keep warm myself. 더 보기
