*한옥, 정갈한 것 좋아하시는 분은 잘 맞으실 거에요~ * 엄마가 서울 올라오셔서 더블룸에 1박 했는데 만족스럽게 지내다갑니다~ 사장님께서 친절하시고 신경 써주시는 게 느껴졌습니다~ 아침은 8~9 사이인데 8:30쯤 가니 한식을 차려주셨어요 (4~5개 반찬 뷔페식) 크기가 크지는 않지만 저와 엄마는 딱 좋아하는 스타일이라 괜찮았습니다. 방 안에 화장실이 있어서 편했고 수건도 넉넉했어요~ 저녁에 살짝 춥기는 했는데 불편할 정도는 아니었고 바닥도 따뜻했습니다 * 게스트하우스 손님들이 볼 수 있는 이용수칙이나 주의사항이 붙여져있으면 이용하기 편할 것 같았어요~ (방 안 문 앞에 있는 물건이 난방기처럼 안 생겨서 난방기인지 모르고 근처에 물건들을 뒀다가 깜짝 놀랐거든요~위험할 수 있으니 미리 알려주셔도 좋을 것 같아요 더 보기

방에 창문이 없어 환기가 안 되어 냄새가 납니다 환기를 위해 방문을 열었다가는 모기에게 밤새도록 물어 뜯길 것을 감수해야합니다. 공용화장실은 깨끗하긴 하지만 너무 비좁아 샤워하기는 거의 불가능합니다. 외국인 여행객이 주로 이용해서 그런지 한국인인 저에게는 불친절하다는 느낌을 받았습니다. 주인장님께 밤새 모기때문에 한잠도 못 잤다고 하소연하니 모기 있는 것 당연한 거 아니냐며 전자모기향 왜 안 피웠냐며 저더러 오히려 황당하다는 표정을 지으시더군요. 전자모기향은 찾아봐도 없었고요. 10월 하순에 이렇게 모기한테 뜯기면서 잔다고는 상상도 못 했어요. 문을 닫고 자는데 도대체 그 많은 모기가 어디서 나오는 건지 신기할 따름입니다 밤새도록 잠 한숨 못 자고 모기 16마리 잡았습니다 ㅠㅠ 저희 딸 아이 밤새 모기한테 열군데 넘게 물렸어요. 주인아저씨기 직접 아침식사를 해주셨는데 그 건 괜찮았습니다 더 보기

한옥도 분위기도 너무 좋았고 게스트하우스 사장님도 넘 친절하고 조식도 한식 맛있었어요 :) 잘 놀다갔습니다. 바닥에 보일러가 좀 약한지 안돌아가는지 바닥에서 자는데 바닥은 좀 추웠던거같아요. 히터가 잘돌아가서 따뜻했지만 ㅎㅎ 감사합니자 더 보기

5호선 종로3가 역에서 좀 걸어야되는데 익선동이랑 진짜 가깝더라구요 후기에 모기가 많다는 글 봤었는데 저희갔을때 세마리잡았구 그래서 홈매트 키고 잤어요 합리적인 가격에 한옥스테이를 할수있어서 만족스러웠습니다 더 보기

we enjoyed our stay so much. We arrived at the mid night on the first day. Pascal greeted us and showed us the room. We love the floor heating in the room. The room is big enough to fit two of us. The breakfast was nice and we enjoyed the chat during the breakfast. We would definitely come back if we visit seoul again. 더 보기

Initially a little underwhelmed but was quickly charmed by this guest house. Pascal is an excellent host, the room is comfortable and we looked forward to coming home to the guest house after each long day exploring Seoul. Fabulous breakfast! 더 보기

First time to try living in Hanok and since I travel alone, thought about finaing a plac to stay for one person. And Hanok provide that room! Even though I mixed up the dates, the owner kindly emailed me back and changed the dates since I could not cancel via Agoda. Thank you for letting me stay!! We stay only for 1 night there because we really want to try Traditional House of Korea The location +/- 5 minutes walking from Jongno 3 Ga Station We would like to say our gratitude to the Host, Pascal We booked double room with shared bathroom, but He let us stay in Room with Bathroom inside with free, because the weather is really cruel that day In the morning, He already prepare our home made Traditional breakfast which is soooo delicious, so that my husband eat double portion Will sure definitely come back to Sodam Hanok Guest house 더 보기

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Pascal. We left my notebook computer in the guesthouse after we left Korea, and Pascal was so helpful to send back to us through his friend! We were so touched by this. Thank you! By the way, Pascal speaks both English and Chinese well and we could communicate ver well. The guesthouse is just a few steps from 昌德宮 and is of walking distance to 北村韓屋村，清溪川etc. Highly recommended. 더 보기

1 night stay: ok - 2 night stay: overstayed - 3 night stay: no no winter: no no - rest of the seasons: ok We stayed there for 3 nights in January, so it wasn't a good experience due to several factors. The good: location (jongno-3ga was a convenient place to stay if you plan to visit surrounding attractions), and it is 5 mins walk away from the subway and airport limousine bus (2 different stations) The bad: the toilet/bathroom is located outdoor and we weren't able to lock it, there will not be room cleaning service like hotels, facilities were minimal as the place is just warm enough to sleep and maps available for visitors we missed all but 1 breakfast as we couldn't wake up in time for it (8am). and on the only breakfast we had, it was porridge, omelette and some sides. we were afraid of making too much noise as the opening and closing of room doors can be quite noisy to others living in the same house. Overall, to me it is similar to couchsurfing but a paid-couchsurfing. 더 보기

Overall the Guesthouse was good, we got the room with the bathroom inside and it was a smart choice because it's really cold in winter. The room was warm enough however the bathroom was a little cold and the hot water needs improvement. The best thing we liked was the breakfast that the owner cooked, food were all homemade and it tasted good, and we could have little chat with other guests. 더 보기
