Very unique experience to stay in this tradition hanok house. We get free upgrade from Minha. The toilet is within the room (they have private toilet for all individual rooms!!!) and very good place to stay if you want to visit Buchon Hanok village and palaces! the breakfast prepared by Minha mother is very nice! take note it is a bit distance from subway if you are carrying big luggage. 더 보기

I arrived very late in Seoul and got lost while taking the taxi to the guesthouse. Minha was very patient and helpful and even upgraded me to the double room. The private toilet is separate from the room. 더 보기

This guest house is located less than 10 minutes walk from Gyeonbok goong station so very convenient. The owner's mother cooks different delicious breakfast every day, and always asks if you need any sight seeing advice. Room was on the small side but very clean. The neighbourhood is very quiet after 10pm. It's nice to experience staying in a hanok but if you are not used to sleeping on hard floor. They have traditional Korean costume that you can borrow and take photos or go for sight seeing as it's popular in this area. 더 보기

Stayed for 2 nights. The host Minha is very friendly and speak very good English. On the first day of arrival, she provide us a map and guided us the places to visit and things to see. Breakfast is nice. Room is clean and comfortable but abit small in size so be mentally prepared. Highly recommended to try staying in a traditional Korean house during your stay in Korea. 더 보기

The location is convenient less than 10 mins’ walk to the nearest subway stn -  “Gyeongbokgung”. Cafes, Restaurants, Shops and 24-hr Convenience stores dot the streets leading to the Hanok. I was assigned a Small Bedroom but it was warm and cozy.  The bedding /mattress was soft and comfortable.  I had a “Private” Bathroom so, it was convenient . The Hanok is well conserved. I was very well taken care of by Ms Minha  and her Mother. Overall, it was indeed a great experience for me.  The advantage I had was the personal touch (which many hotels and guests houses lack these days) by the Owners which made my entire stay even more comfortable.  I will not hesitate to recommend this Hanok stay to anyone who visits Seoul and I will certainly return to Vine Hanok on my next visits to Seoul. 더 보기

I stayed for 3 nights. Booked a single room but got the Double room because it was also not occupied. Of course because it is a traditional House with thin wooden walls you hear the neighbours if they Talk loudly but i expected that(if you know traditional asian houses you know what i mean).Located right at the biggest Palace grounds it is the right choice if you plan to do a lot of cultural sightseeing. The Metro 3 is a 5 min walk away. The traditional korean breakfast was amazing. Made by the owner herself you are really plunged into the korean culture. Her daughter also was the nicest Person. She Helps you out of you need sth and sat down with me every Morning to Talk about my plans for the Day and made helpful suggestions to improve my plan. Minha and the lady who was working with her were amazingly helpful and hospitable, kind and polite always. The guesthouse was very clean and taken care of which contributed a lot to the unique experience of staying at a Hanok. The location couldn't be more convenient as it is in the middle of everything. Great stay here but slightly far from underground, easier if you take taxi when u have luggagw which is inexpensive if you have 3-4 members. Oh.. and If you see the door opens by itself its just becus the house is old and bended. i was so scared when i saw it at night but its kind of funny experience haha 더 보기

The host, Minha, was very kind and enthusiastic about helping us have a good stay in Seoul. She sent us directions to the hanok beforehand, gave us good meal recommendations for dinner, gave us maps, and even let us use her transit cards. The room was very clean; we had our own bathroom in our room, and it didn't smell at all (I say this because I've stayed at a different hanok before, and it did smell). Breakfast was very fun; they served us traditional Korean meals and explained what everything was. I will stay here again when my other relatives come, and recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good hanok stay. 더 보기

According to the house owner, the Hanok was built about a hundred years ago. The room is equipped with a private bath and toilet which was meticulously clean and tidy. The shared common room is really nice and there is a naturally profiled wooden table and a bookshelves with lots of books giving a strong The house owners are very nice and helpful in checking for us whether the seafood market at Noryangjin was opened or not on the first day of the Lunar New Year. 더 보기

1. Perfect location (Central Seoul) The Vine Hanok guesthouse proved to be the perfect accommodation for the first part of my stay in Korea. Nearly 150-year-old traditional architecture is very charming and while it is close to a busy main road the guesthouse felt peaceful and quiet. Of course the house is located near the subway station. The area is close to the west wall of Gyeongbokgung, and has numerous very smart coffee shops and art galleries, and is well served for affordable Korean, Japanese and Western-style restaurants. You can easily walk to Gwanghwamun Square and adjacent areas and transport links are good. It is really easy to go to Myengdong, Dongdaemun, Ehwa Women's univ, Gyeongbokgung, Bukchon, Insa-dong and all other touristic places. 2. Korean traditional breakfast While staying in this house, they provided me with real Korean traditional dish called ‘Rick cake soup’, which Korean used to eat to celebrate their New Year’s day and Korean Royal cousine called ‘Steamed rice wrapped with lotus leaf’. This was the first time that I ate Korean foods, and I felt it is warming. 3. Really Nice and helpful host Minha and her mother were gracious hosts and helped us whenever we wanted to go places and were unsure of how to get there. Even she wrote name of restaurants and interesting places in Korean which she was worried about that we could not find them They are really She is a great host and she welcomed us the guest house with a lovely letter left by the door as we arrived late in the evening. She promptly replied to my messages when I enquired about anything from places to eat in the area and coach timings. She is extrimely friendly and we loved staying in there for 2 days. 4. Underfloor heating called ‘Ondol’ - so warm and cozy Our stay was during winter and the underfloor heating made it very cosy - especially with the traditional bedding on the floor. 더 보기

Guesthouse is quite far from subway station. Rooms & Bathrooms are very small, however it was clean. The garden also very small compared to photos. When we arrived, there are nobody there to open the door for us. We have to call and they provided password for the alarm door in order for us to go in. And no place for us to store our luggages due to small rooms, we have to keep our luggages in the shared living room. We booked room with private bathroom, but the bathroom are outside the room, it's at living room. Another room was 4persons, but actually i dont think the space can't fit in 4persons, as we were not sleep really well. Overall, the owner is very friendly and always keep the guesthouse clean. 더 보기
