Pros: Location was about 10 mins (uphill though) walk from Myeongdong station (exit 2), and less than 10 mins from cable car station to Namsan tower. Room size was spacious (for Muslim traveller, it has enough space for you to pray in). So many things provided, aircon, floor heater, water dispenser, tv, breakfast (self service i.e. cook your own eggs!) Cons: Not recommended for travellers who are elderly/with walking difficulty as it is an uphill climb here, and only stairs in the guesthouse so might be inconvenient for those bringing large bags. Towel provided was tiny, so bring a bath towel if you need one. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here, host was super friendly :) 더 보기

The size of room was OK and location is good , near train station and bus stops . The breakfast is pretty basic but the time and quality were better than other guesthouses. The staff are really friendly and help you on everything. 더 보기

Room was pretty small, but for the location, i think its worth it. You'll need to walk up a long and steep slope to get to the hotel, and it is quite tedious having to push your luggage up the slope. We were given a hand towel for our shower, which is really small, so bring along a towel if you can. Staff were really nice, they helped us to carry our luggages up and down the stairs, and our luggages are really heavy. You can make your own breakfast too. A good hotel if you're just looking for a place to sleep and shower. :) 더 보기

One week before my stay,the hostel staff sent me a detailed (with photos) direction on how to get there from Myeongdong MRT station. And because i will arrive at middle night, they leave my key in the cute red mailbox outside. Everything is so thoughtful. The condition of the room is standard, but surprisingly with all the amenities: toiletries, towels, hairdryer etc. Everything looks quite new and clean. It is located between Myeongdong and Nam San, so you need to walk up a steep slope for 5mins from MRT. It is no problem for a backpacker like me but maybe not for ppl with kids or large suitcases. I actually prefer this location compared to hotels even closer to Myeongdong. It is quieter, with neighborhood food stores nearby and chance to see ordinary life of local ppl (drunk coworkers after 10pm outside of BBQ place). And as for shopping, walk down the slope and cross the road, you will enter the noisy happening massive shopping ground of Myeongdong! Overall, i am very happy with my stay here. Some tips for food nearby: there is a Issac toast down the road, great option of breakfast. There is also a Two two chicken down the other road (two ways to go down to Myeongdong), good for supper. 더 보기

Loved our 9 nights there due to the walking distance to Myeongdong and its metro station. There were at least 3 convenience stores on the way to the GH. We spotted a 24hrs Korean BBQ restaurant as well, with many other restaurants opening till late. You won't believe that Isaac Toast and Two Two Chicken are nearby as well!! Also loved the fact that it is just opposite Myeongdong, where we grabbed many skincare products and walk back to our GH in 10 mins to dump all the heavy goods back in the room before heading out. A lot of famous restaurants and street foods in Myeongdong as well! We were almost in Myeongdong every day and night haha. The staff were very helpful and friendly as well. I had many concerns before we flew and their email replies were prompt and polite. When you are back to the GH after a long and tiring day outside, the staff at the counter will smile at you and say hello. It made us felt very homely :) However, there were also a few things that I thought the GH should improve on. Their blankets are quite dirty. The first day I wore a white sweater and after lying on the bed, I realized that there were dust and dirt on my sweater. My sweater had grey patches. I did not dare to use the blanket after that. Pillows and bedsheets were fine. The water pressure was not consistent as well. When the other room is using the water, the water output in our room became really low. Making it quite difficult to shower. Towels provided were too small as well, that is just the size of a face towel. So I would recommend you to bring your own towel. And btw this GH is located on a steep slope. So I don't think it will be suitable for people traveling with elderly. For youngsters just treat it as a form of exercise after eating too much yummy Korean food :9 Hehe that's what my boyfriend and I did. Nonetheless, I would still visit Welcome GH again if I am ever back to Seoul because of the good customer service and prime location :) 더 보기

Overall it was a very comfortable stay for us, the room are clean and comfortable. We had great time here. And ts REALLY very near to the subway, its very convenient for us as tourist that need to travel with subway everyday! The myeongdong main attraction its just accross the road. And the famous Two Two Fried Chicken is just around the corner next to the Pacific Hotel. 더 보기

I arrived the guesthouse around 11am and I was warmly welcomed by the host and room was immediate available though the check in time should be in the afternoon. I traveled to Seoul alone and back to hostel a bit late at night, but i feel very safe to stay here. This is a rather new hostel, so everything still in very good condition and the room is very clean. 더 보기

Friendly and helpful staffs and the room+bathroom very clean. The only draw back is the noise from next door occupant(s). I booked a single room and the room that shares the same wall had 2 occupants. I could hear them showering and I can hear every single word of their conversation quite clearly. This guesthouse is near the Myeong-dong & Seoul Tower. The attendants deal with people warmly . The room is small but its clean and it has a refrigerator.If your luggage is very heavy you should know——there is no elevator，and the way to the hotel has a long sloping road. 더 보기

We love the place very much, the staffs are very helpful & friendly. They helped us to carry our luggage to our room. We loved our room because it is very beautiful at the same time it is very clean & tidy (exactly same as the photos given). This guesthouse located at the middle of mountain, i was taking a big luggage to climb the mountain and that time is snowing, it is quite hard for me to look for the guesthouse. So i suggest that don't bring too big or too heavy luggage to the guesthouse. The staff is friendly and have a good english. Besides that, the room is quite big compare to others guesthouse. Nice location, just walk 15mins can reach myeongdong. Many convenient shop and restaurant nearby also. 더 보기
